Event Science: Tip of The Day

"Another perspective concerning the design of event experiences involves the application of environmental psychology to understand how event settings influence attendee behaviour. Specific considerations relevant to events include social interaction, capacity and crowding, personal space, signs, physical features, sound, lighting, colour, temperature and airflow. In this interpretation, frameworks such as the Bitner’s servicescapes model are very useful for understanding the elements of event settings."
