Burnout has been shown to lead to a host of issues, from substance abuse and mental health problems to patient safety concerns with the pandemic only exacerbating the stress physicians face. Promoting physician well-being requires a multi-pronged approach. In this session, panelists will discuss the impact of wellness on patient safety and outcomes, the added pressures of COVID-19, and how to support physicians during these difficult times.
