Laurin Dorman, CSW

Laurin Dorman has been working in some facet of the wine business for over 20 years. Her career started with time abroad in Italy and the opportunity to live and work with a family that made their own wine. She was hooked. Upon returning to the states she went in search of wineries in her area and started taking any wine related courses she could find. Since that time, she has held positions with wineries in New Jersey & Italy, large wine retailers, and prestigious wine importers. In addition to her working credentials, she also holds certifications with the Sommelier Society of America, Wine & Spirits Educations Trust, Guild of Master Sommeliers and is a Certified Specialist of Wine with the Society of Wine Educators.

Laurin has also served as Chairperson for the Garden State Wine Growers Association, an organization of over 50 members throughout the state of New Jersey and has had her wine articles published in local publications.

Laurin currently works as General Manager & Sommelier for Old York Cellars Winery in Ringoes, New Jersey and lives in Lambertville, NJ with her family. When she is not thinking, talking and drinking wine, she loved to compete in Ironman triathlons and cook anything local and seasonal she can get her hands on...always paired with the perfect wine!
